Tossa de Mar

The village Tossa de Mar has kept the balance between its history and the present, and now it's now a tourism centre during the whole year, where the visitor can do all kind of sports and other activities.
It gives us the option to take part in walks and jaunts along one of the most important historical places of the area: La Villa Vella, surrounded with a big wall, the unique example of fortified medieval village of the Catalan coast, where we find the guard's old tower, Torre de Can Magí (or Torre dels Moros), and other interesting points, lik
the Chapel de la Verge de Socors, an important religious centre for the people, the Church of Sant Vicenç, or Museu Municipal, the first museum of contemporary art of the Spanish state, in the middle of the fortified enclosure, where we find the Tower d'Es Codolar. If we have decided to come to Tossa on a Thursday, we'll see its weekly market, important meeting point for the inhabitants of the village, where the streets offer to the visitor a wide range of products.
We change the scene to go to see one of the main ecological attractions of the area, and to observe the wealth of its natural environment.
We go to the Massif of Cadiretes (massif), natural space which is made up of innumerable footpaths that, for its tranquillity, they invites you to walk along them and to look at the landscape, one of the big treasures of Tossa.
